Brief Who We Are
The ROMA Foundation began in December 2025 as a grassroots "angel fund," bringing together local business representatives who met monthly to pool donations and direct them toward pressing needs in our community. As our collective giving grew, so did our ambition — many of our members work directly in healthcare, giving us a close-up view of the gaps in local funding and care. That insight led us to formalize our efforts and expand our reach, and the ROMA Foundation was born. Our name honors our roots: ROMA stands for Rural Ohio Marketing Alliance, the original marketing group whose members first developed this idea. While we've since grown into our own independent organization, we remain grateful for the vision and generosity that started it all.
How We Help
At ROMA Foundation, we understand that a medical crisis can create financial strain that reaches far beyond the hospital bill. That's why we provide direct financial assistance to individuals and families in our community who are facing hardship due to illness or unexpected medical expenses. Whether it's help covering treatment costs, everyday living expenses, or the gap left when a health crisis disrupts a family's income, our support is designed to ease the burden during an already difficult time. We believe no one should have to choose between their health and their financial stability, and we're committed to standing beside our neighbors when they need it most.
